SCOPE OF WORKS

• Facilitated the upgrade of existing chamber substations low voltage switchgear and transformers in conjunction with Evoenergy and the replacement of the associated fire rated consumer mains.
• Replacement of 9 Existing Live Main Switchboards and associated submains with 6 New Generator backed Main Switchboards inclusive of Automatic and Parallel Transfer Switches and Power Factor Correction cubicles across 2 New/refurbished Main Switchrooms in 1 Building.
• Replacement of 3 Existing Live Main Switchboards and associated submains with 3 New Generator back Main Switchboards inclusive of Automatic and Parallel Transfer Switches and Power Factor Correction Cubicles across 2 New/refurbished Main Switchrooms in 1 Building
• Complete ComAp Intelligen Control System with Master Control Panels that allow monitoring and control of the installation
• Installation, testing and commissioning of 4 x New Main Distribution Boards across two New
  Main Distribution Rooms.
• Installation, testing and commissioning of new Distribution boards, new ATS cubicles and new submains to provide redundancy at the existing Distribution boards.
• Installation, testing and commissioning of 4 x 1500kVA Prime Rated Generator Sets
• Installation, testing and commissioning of 3 x Mobile Generator Connection Cubicles
• General Lighting and Emergency Lighting upgrades to refurbished areas

CONSIDERED & COORDINATED

Immense planning was required in order to correctly stage all the works required to seamlessly transfer between new & old switchboards. Many of these shutdowns involved extensive temporary power requirements. Additional levels of redundancy were installed during the project which enables major parts of the hospital to be kept online even in the event of multiple transformer & generator failures.
