Shepherd was appointed to complete the electrical and communications upgrades to the new John McGrath Auto Kia showroom as part of the roll out of Kia's new corporate identity.
Lighting that inspires
Originally built in the 1970’s as Brian Pollock Ford the iconic car dealership on the corner of Melrose and Hindmarsh Dr, Phillip as seen numerous facelifts and additions over the last 50 years.
The new fitout provides a contemporary showroom to suit the latest offerings of the automotive world.
The recessed LED strip lighting was a major aesthetic feature of the project. Close coordination with the builder and partitions contractor ensure a seamless integration for the custom curved extrusion.
Demolition
- Demolition and make safe of the electrical/communications services of existing showroom and offices.
Power
- Chasing-in and Installation of floor boxes for power and communications in the showroom area
- Installation of cable tray and catenaries.
- Refurbishment of the existing electrical switchboard
- Installation, fitoff and testing of general Power circuits and outlets & ELV charging submains.
Lighting
- New lighting circuits.
- Installation, fit-off and testing of all internal and external luminaires an
- Exit/emergency light systems.
Communications & AV
- Showroom tv’s and integrated sound system.
- MATV system.
- Installation on new communications cabinet and UPS.
- Cat6a communications cabling
